bad memories

Eddie Kilowatt

in the museum

at the anatomical display

a little boy

told me

girls were much better at

remembering things

because they had

memory glands, but

their memories weren't as good

when they were little girls

because they didn't get their

memory glands until

they were about

twelve years old.

their memory glands had to wait

until they went through

poverty, he said.

boys go through poverty too,

but boys don't

get to grow better memories,

all boys ever get are

wet dreams and

those are when

you wake up in the middle of the night

and you think you wet the bed, but

you're wrong.
