Grammatical editing and plot critiques:

  • $1.20 per typed double-spaced page

  • We offer editing and plot critiques on typed manuscripts ONLY

  • Include a SASE for your returned manuscript

  • Please use the following format for manuscripts:

    • 1-inch margins on all sides

    • 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font

    • Double-space the entire manuscript

    • Include your name and page number in the top right-hand corner

We also accept e-mailed manuscripts in MS Word format.  We will email the manuscript back to you with comments after we receive payment.  If you want a printed copy, the cost will be $1.00 per page plus shipping and handling.

 

Typing

  • $1.00 per double-spaced typed page

  • Include a SASE for typed manuscript

  • Unless specifically stated, the handwritten manuscript will not be returned

  • All manuscripts will be typed in 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins unless other formatting is specified.

Turnaround Time:

We will endeavor to meet any deadline you need.  We guarantee to edit and critique manuscripts under 100 pages in no more than two weeks, plus two weeks for payment and delivery.  While we aim to have a much quicker turnaround time, please note that it could be about a month before you receive our critique and edits.

 

For manuscripts over 100 pages, please email us for a turnaround time.  We will make every effort to have these longer manuscripts critiqued and back to you within a month; however, we can't guarantee it.  Also, the prices above are for regular prose-style manuscripts.  For other manuscripts (e.g., children's stories), please email us for a quote.

 

Payment methods:

Currently, we accept money orders, checks, and paypal.

 

Because of some unfortunate encounters with nonpaying clients, we ask that payment be provided before we send you the completed manuscript.  For grammar/plot critiques, either enclose payment with your manuscript or ask us to send you a bill via email or fax.  For typing, we will mail, fax, or email your bill to you.
