A Child Asks For More
John Grey
Don't worry.
You will have a brand new outfit
for Barbie
even if I have to rob
a convenience store
to finance her expensive lifestyle.
But why dream small.
I'll knock over a bank
and she can drive that
red Corvette she's always
dreamed about.
And maybe,
with the chic pants suit,
the flashy car,
she can attract a male
more exciting
than that lifeless dummy Ken.
What's that you say, child?
Barbie needs more male company
like a dog needs more fleas.
She's a doll on the move.
She wants the look, the horsepower,
to bust through that glass ceiling.
Then go ask your
mother.
She makes more than I do.
